Peter Chernin (Rise of the Apes) is producing the project with game company Atari executive producing. Burk Sharpless and Matt Sazama (Flash Gordon reboot, Dracula Year Zero) have been hired to pen the script.
Not sure how the plot of something like this may work out, but if nothing else, hopefully we can get a funny "All your base are belong to us" type moment from this silly project.
