The actress reportedly beat out Scarlett Johansson to portray the raven-haired Swedish sleuth in the American version of the Millenium series of novel adaptations.
The photo was snapped as she recently appeared at the 2010 Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards gala with her fellow The Social Network cast members.
The Hollywood version of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo has been filming in Sweden but won't see release until this December. Daniel Craig co-stars.
