Next Bond Film to Shoot in England

June 11, 2007 – Dallas, TX - Our friends over at cinemretro.com unleashed their secret reporter on Cannes and came up with the following juicy little ditty - the next 007 film starring Daniel Craig will buck the recent trend of filming in foreign lands, and is preparing to shoot at Pinewood Studios, England. And that's where they belong – at home!

The majority of Casino Royale was filmed in the Czech Republic despite tax breaks and incentives offered with hopes of keeping the British thriller in the motherland. Producers for the next, as of now unnamed, Bond film have announced they'll shoot the studio scenes at Pinewood with other scenes set to shoot in unannounced worldwide locations.

Robert Wade and Neal Purvis, the writers of the last several Bond films, have completed the script and Oscar-winning scribe Paul Haggis is polishing it - a formula that worked so well the last time around that Casino Royale has become the top-grossing film in the franchise's history. Production is slated to begin in January, 2008 for a November, 2008 opening
