The New Jersey Hilton Harsbrouck Heights will enter a new dimension later this fall when it hosts the 2007 Twilight Zone Convention on August 4th through the 5th. Fans of the popular classic sci-fi television show will have plenty to do and see as such alums as Mary Badham, Paul Comi, James T. Callahan, Susan Gordon and many more will make appearances. Non-Twilight fans won't be left out however as there will also be appearances from Butch Patrick, Soupy Sales, Larry Storch and Mickey Freeman.
As well as the usual stable of vendors that sell television and movie memorabilia at such events, the co-author of The Twilight Zone Scripts of Earl Hamner and member of the Board of Directors of the Rod Serling Memorial Foundation, Tony Albarella will be on hand to sign his new book. Also, the creator of The Twilight Zone logo and illustrator of numerous "Little Golden Books," and coloring books that include Yosemite Sam, Spider-Man, Elmo and Zoe’s Alphabet, Tweety and Sylvester, Bugs Bunny Rides Again, Tom and Jerry, Porky Pig Counting Book, and Pink Panther: The Prince & The Panther will be there for all to meet.
The convention's main event will undoubtedly be Saturday night's 2007 Twilight Zone Banquet Dinner that will feature at least one Twilight Zone actor seated at each table. How fun will that be for the dinner guests to beat the actors down with a couple hours of questions that they've all answered thousands of times throughout the years?
