Rob Zombie Names New Michael Myers for Halloween By Frank Wilkins

Taylor Mane, perhaps better known as a WWE wrestler or as SaberTooth from the first installment of the X-Men movie franchise was named on Rob Zombie's Myspace page as the adult Michael Myers for Zombie's Halloween project. Mane might also be remembered as Rufus from The Devil's Rejects and Ajax from Troy.
Filming of what is working-titled Halloween 9 is in pre-production stage and begins filming January 29, 2007.
Update: Danielle Harris, who played Michael Myers' niece in Halloween 4 and 5 is in talks to play the "leading role" in Rob Zombie's Halloween. Fangoria reports that "those two key words may mean that she is playing none other than heroine Laurie Strode herself—or if not that character, played four times in the franchise by Jamie Lee Curtis, then certainly someone of prominence".
