Lucas to Begin Filming Indiana Jones 4 in 2007 by Frank Wilkins
December 29, 2006 - The fourth chapter in the Indiana Jones saga, which is to hit theaters in 2008, will begin principal photography in an undisclosed location some time in 2007, says 62 year-old George Lucas who promises this episode "to be the best one yet."
The script, only recently finalized by Lucas with Steven Spielberg's help, has been in the works for over a decade with some rumors even saying the project was dead on the vine.
Lucas is quiet about the plot, but promises that the latest action flick will be "character piece" that will include some "very interesting mysteries."
UPDATE: The Hollywood Reporter is publishing reports that filming will begin in June in locations around the world. Likely to hit the street in May of '08.
