DALLAS, TX - JANUARY 17, 2008 - Actor Danny McBride who recently appeared in Hot Rod and The Heartbreak Kid will channel Wesley Eure's Will from Will Ferrell's forthcoming adaptation of the popular Sid and Marty Croft 1970's production, Land of the Lost.
The adaptation, due out next year, will put a bit of a spin on the original by turning the popular kid's show, that featured a family trapped in a world inhabited by dinosaurs and spooky space creatures, into a spoof. Why are we not suprised?
Will Ferrell is slated to play Park Ranger Rick Marshall. No word yet on who will play Holly. Might we suggest Reese Witherspoon?
