Weta Digital To Do Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer
September 25, 2006 Movieweb.com - 20th Century Fox has picked Weta Digital to work on the special effects for the Silver Surfer in the upcoming superhero sequel, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer.
Doug Jones will move the character, in a process similar to the way Andy Serkis portrayed Gollum in the Lord of the Rings trilogy, says The Hollywood Reporter; the voice casting of Silver Surfer has yet to be determined.
Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer will hit theaters June 15, 2007.
