Stone to Give Alexander Yet Another Pass February 14, 2007 - Oliver Stone is releasing yet another version of his failed epic Alexander that chronicles the life and times of the once dominant world conquerer. The film was a box office disaster when it released in 2004 and hasn't done much better on DVD. Warner Bros. released a Director’s Cut of the film on DVD in July of 2005 but Stone says getting the film right still haunts him.
