Though it's still too early to determine without a doubt, and we've learned through the years to not put too much stock in these first teaser trailers, but we must say that after taking a gander at the firs teaser trailer for Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, things are beginning to look up for the once thought dead franchise.
One of the upcoming film's biggest attributes will undoubtedly be the involvement of Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor behind the camera. Of course, they're the ADHD dynamic directing duo responsible for injecting so much action-packed fun into the Crank films that starred Jason Statham.
Nicolas Cage will be back to reprise his role as the fire-faced Johnny Blaze with Idris Elba and Ciaran Hinds as Moreau and The Devil respectively. The plot is said to revolve around Blaze who, while in a self-imposed exile, is tasked with protecting a mother and her son from a villainous enemy named Roarke. Word has it that Blackout will also be involved in the plot as well.
Spirit of Vengeance appears to be a completely different film this time around with some pretty cool-looking and quite polished special effects. Hopefully this one will probably correct EVERYTHING the original got wrong.
