James Wan, best known as one of the initial creators of the Saw series, returns with Saw co-creator Leigh Whannel to dip his toes back in the fright waters with a new haunted house thriller, Insidious.
We got our first brief look at this ghostly chiller last month via this teaser trailer. It was really hard to make judgment however with all the flickering, jump cutting, and other editing chicanery done simply to well, tease us.
But now with Film District's newly released official trailer for Insidious, we feel more comfortable coming to the early conclusion that this thing looks darn scary! Wan and Whannel birthed the multi-million dollar Saw franchise a decade ago with a meager budget of $1.2 million. Let's see if they can do it again.
