The classic spaghetti western will get a quirky new coat of paint when Quentin Tarantino's take on the genre hits theaters this coming holiday season with the name Django Unchained.
The new teaser trailer is now online which you can take a look at below. In true Tarantino fashion, very little remains of what we know about the genre save for the costumes, guns, horses and shady characters, all replaced by the filmmaker's own unique brand of violence, humor, and captivating cinematography.
The script leaked online a while back, giving those so inclined a detailed look at the story that involves a revenge tale about a freed slave named Django (Jamie Foxx) who teams up with a bounty hunter (Christoph Waltz) to hunt for a gang of bad guys who only Django will recognize.
As is typical with Tarantino film's, the cast is full of stellar A and B-listers like Samuel L. Jackson, Leonardo DiCaprio, Don Johnson, Franco Nero, Bruce Dern and others. Django comes off the chain and into theaters this holiday season on December 25th.
